I am going to introducing a new web site.Read more about music/radio/general talk or bangladesh tradition.just visit this site clickable and dofollow
Please do not post stuff like that in this thread. Also please take the time to post in the correct subforum. I moved your post to Radio Shows since it fits in better there.
New personal message PM alert popup feature has been added which should function the same way as our old forum did.
I do not believe Adblock or similar blockers will inhibit this but if you notice that you get a PM and you do not see the popup asking if you want to view it you may need to put our forum into your exceptions list if you want the feature.
Also added an alert that pops up once in a great while for people who are not registered who frequently visit and browse many threads and lurk often.
I have it setup currently to only nag them after each 5 unique thread visits and no more than 5 times total with 4 days apart between each nag popup. This way it should not get annoying, but just act as a friendly reminder.
Current message will show "We notice you've visited over {number} unique discussions on this board. Isn't it time you thought about registering?" with a link to the registration page, or a simple X to close the popup and return to regular browsing of the forum.
Registered members should never see this, and unregistered lurkers should rarely see it.
Merged the thread from Radio Electronics & Tech titled "Best Links to Radio/Tech" into the thread titled Best Links & Info, as is found in the Helpful Stuff forum, and found on the Quick Links side panel bar. No point in having two threads with almost identical topics.
For those using Privacy Badger you may need to enable photobucket using the sliders in the addon preferences on Firefox. I noticed the newest version is blocking it even though it's safe. If you don't enable it many of icon images on the forum may not show up. I don't believe you need to enable cookies for it. If anyone has an issue with this I can eventually switch image hosting.
Had to update the image host. The old one decided to no longer allow third party linking. Luckily proboards now has their own image space server. Sorry about that. All fixed now. By the way if it seems like I haven't been maintaining the forum trust me I still am, just been real busy lately.

Good Morning Kage !
I was thinking, you may wish to consider adding an area here for the purpose of listing the specifications of each of the currently available FM Broadcast Transmitters along with pictures of each unit. I think that would be a very helpful addition for newbies and veterans alike ! I have been compiling as much data on each model as humanly possible and saving schematic diagrams to add to each transmitter listed when available.
What do you think ?
I very much enjoy the forum, helping others here and learning some new, useful tricks myself ! I've been in the game since 1970 on and off, my latest incarnation is 'High Mountain Radio', "Broadcasting From Somewhere High In The Remote Appalachian Mountains" 50-80 Watts, Ground Plane. I'll be building a J-Pole this week since from what I have read, quite a few report having somewhat better results with them over the Ground Plane.. More to follow after testing..
73... Spooky...
"Knowledge Is Always Made More Valuable By Sharing It With Others !" Always Remember To Be Kind ! True Greatness Often Has Very Humble Beginnings ! Help A Kid Out Today ! *** High Mountain Radio *** "Broadcasting From Somewhere High In The Remote Appalachian Mountains"

Thanks for the idea. Been a while since I decided exactly how to add a subforum for this but now we have one... darkliferadio.proboards.com/board/19/transmitter-reviews-discussions Now under Radio Electronics & Tech > Transmitter Reviews & Discussions "Want to ask about one of those ebay rigs? Found a neat kit you want to share? Post about it here.."
Hope that will suffice for now. Going to move ebay/amazon transmitter links and sales into that subforum from now on in hopes that it will be exactly like you suggested.. a place to review and post about transmitters that people can buy.
Photobucket is limiting bandwidth on image hosting now. I think most of the images that were posted here were moved long ago to Imgur but if anyone notices images not showing that happen to still be hosted on photobucket let me know so I can edit the url. Thanks.
Found a nice MUF and foF2 easy to read ionosphere map online and added it to the side links at the bottom. Much more useful than what I had linked there in the past in my opinion for shortwave users.
If anyone is having trouble with the side chat loading in your browser make sure to check the security settings. Recently had the issue myself and found out I needed to enable "Fingerprinting" in firefox only for the cbox chat even though it was fine in chrome. This will not make your browsing less secure, it's only to allow the browser to know how to resize the chat frame otherwise it won't load at all and you'll see a blank space.
Added a swap and sell subforum with thread category labeling. Not worrying about writing up rules yet, pretty sure people will be good users of it but any obvious spam will be removed or bad sellers will get locked from accessing it.
