Hey there, I'm the program director of LRN.FM - the Liberty Radio Network. I'm also the host of the syndicated talk program Free Talk Live and a longtime fan of pirate radio. So, I created a network with pirate operators in mind. I wanted to make it easy to run a pirate radio station - get the equipment, and tune our feed. (Hopefully this doesn't count as "just posting a link".) LRN.FM features the best liberty-oriented audio on the internet including both live and recorded programming. See our program guide here: Shows.LRN.FM
You can pull our feed from our high quality 64k mono stream or grab us on our brand new Ku-band Free-to-Air satellite channel. Satellite coordinates available at Sat.LRN.FM Technical note - The Ku-band feed is currently being fed via our public internet feed.
Take as much or as little of our programming as you prefer. Run 24/7 if you like. If you do pick up some or all of our programming, please just give me a heads up so I can list your station on our radio affiliates page. Also, if you pull the programming, flip frequencies, or go off-the-air, I'd appreciate a heads up so as to keep our list up-to-date.
Thanks - I hope you find our programming useful! (One word of warning - this is an internet based network, so occasionally there may be mature content.)
Hey, it's been almost a year since my last post, and our programming has grown nicely since then. Now there are eight hours of live content each weekday, six on Saturday, and ten on Sunday. You can see the full program grid at Shows.LRN.FM
You are welcome to take as many programs as you like, or take our feed 24/7. If you'd just like specific shows, please follow our network program clock here if you plan on running local inventory: lrn.fm/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/LRN_Clock.pdf
