Last programme you had playing in the background or show on the internet.. so on. Doesn't have to be like a log report, just in general.. So what have you been listening to or are listening to right now?
Today while at the workbench I had on Alex Jones radio show via an AM that carries it here.
A few nights ago was listening to WBCQ 7415kc while the signal was booming. They had some transmitter problems and went to background music while the caller yapped at random and then Kracker called in. Brother Scare came on and I changed channel lol.
Right now about to listen to Coast to Coast AM to see what's on. Adult Swim on TV is boring me at the moment.
I like tuning into Arnie Coro's Dxers Unlimited on Havana Cuba shortwave but I never seem to be around when it's on

Last night from about 8PM to nearly midnight had a nice strong signal from Toronto's 740 AM CFZM classic rock/oldies station. They still sound like a late 60's early 70's station on Friday and Saturday nights.
Today while at the workbench I had on Alex Jones radio show via an AM that carries it here.
That fella's voice is harsh enough to make my throat feel like it has been stuffed with frogs. ;D
I use a Motorola R2012D communications analyzer to scan the bands but I don't usually seek out broadcast signals but rather hunt down beacon and navigation signals....and every once in awhile those creepy number stations pop up with the sexy sounding lady rambling off endless numbers over and over.
At least these days we can scan the bands and not be plagued by those buzz saw stations (Electronic Iron Curtain) of yesteryear. Those ruined many a good evenings of international radio listening fun. One time I got so angry at them I decided to fire up one of my HF ham rigs at 1.5Kw and tuned it to one of the USSR's frequencies they intended for the world to tune into for programing and jammed it with my own buzz saw noise.
An eye for an eye....fight saw with saw. I doubt that it mattered, but at least for a few hundred miles I managed to effectively block out their signal from my area.
Peace

Been listening and even rebroadcasting this station for periods of time when I need a quick temporary show to test out transmissions... Psychedelic Jukebox They play 60s psychedelic rock, garage and surf music, no commercials and very few airchecks between songs. Not sure how they process their audio but it sounds really good for an internet station. Via shoutcast.
Oh man I forgot to mention Phil Hendrie. That guy is a comedic radio genius. I have to listen to it using iheart radio though because the station that did carry it locally switched formats which is a shame.
If any of you get bored with the usual Coast to Coast AM at night, try to find a station carrying Phil. KTLK on iheart carries it.

I listen to Ground Zero w/ Clyde Lewis at 11pm as I go to sleep. If I am up late enough I listen to coast to coast.Listen to these on my hallicrafters tube sw reciver. Listen to Glenn Beck sometimes during the day. Wish we had more of a daytime selection its all religious or politics it gets a little old. Need freethought radio or some comedy. being in Arkansas the free thought is out of the question.
