Hey Guys & Girls !
I have a Baofeng UV3R and UV5R, both great little radios for the price ! I have no gripes.. They perform quite well considering the cheap price ! They are nice to use for FRS, GMRS , MURS or Amateur Radio ! I also use mine as a scanner for local emergency personnel and police frequencies..

Just don't tell any other amateur radio operators that you use it for FRS/GMRS or they will jump down your throat yelling how it's not type accepted for those services lol. Not that anyone in real life really cares or would ever know you are using it on those bands, and I bet the majority of owners use them for that purpose anyways

I have both a Baofeng UV3R and UV5R and both work well and are a great value for the cheap price ! I have one in my glove compartment in my car just for emergencies and occasional chat. They work pretty damn good and are even better when married to an external antenna !
