Hi,
Thanks for allowing me to become a member of this forum. I operate an internet radio station called Radio Free Missouri, Our website is www.radiofreemissouri.org. I have been collecting equipment to be able to broadcast to The lake community I live at. I have a regular PC in which I use to broadcast music out to the internet. I also have a Behringer DSP-1424P Ultramizer pro unit and a Sain Sonic AX-O5B .5 watt, FM transmitter. I don't know how to correctly set things up from the computer to the Ultra pro unit and the transmitter. I also have a Alto ZMX-862 Mixer as well. Any help would be welcomed.
Simplest way I can figure would be to run the computers audio output into one of the mixers inputs, run your mics and other audio sources into other channels of the mixer. Run the mixers line level output into your Behringer and then the output of the Behringer out to your transmitter AND back into the computer through another soundcards input so that you can run the mixers output both for internet webcasting and live FM broadcasting. That would require two soundcards, or a single soundcard with multiple inputs/outputs and the appropriate software to split the feeds to separate applications so that one card is used for webcasting and the other is used for output to the mixer for live music out of the computer when needed. Hope that makes sense.
You can simplify matters by having two separate computers if needed. One for webcasting the live feed, and one for everything else like playing MP3s or using music automation software.
To complicate matters more you will need to filter the output of your FM transmitter for a pure clean signal so not to cause interference to other radio services and you may have future issues with the sound not being the greatest on air because of no proper broadcast audio processing to avoid audio clipping/limiting and handle preemphasis. That "Ultamizer" will only help so much. Don't let that derail you though. One step at a time

Kage,
I decided to use my mp3 player until I can do otherwise as you suggested, this works and I suppose my computer just could not do it. I am going to upgrade my computer with a better sound card as I am using the one built into the motherboard. Thanks
