Hmm... should we have a trade/sell subforum? Never realized it but it could be useful for this sort of post. I am allowing it BTW, just wondering if a subforum would be welcomed? BTW neat stuff, wish I had some cash atm

I'm a big horse trader kage. i love to swap gear. i'm looking for a sennheiser md-421u, symetrix 528e, and an aareff 500mW or 1W ERP fm transmitter/dipole system if you are in the central colorado area that opens up trading on the tv transmitter or the broadcast console as well.

Hell I am not even sure what the rules are for selling stuff on proboards. That may be an area I will leave alone. Always welcome to sell stuff in PMs and the like. Yeah I can imagine one bad deal and we would have the forum getting shit on by angry dealers and the likes. Maybe I won't make a subforum for that lol.

Greetings Kage from High Mountain Radio 99.9 FM !
I think that would be a wonderful addition to a very nice forum ! I am sure it would be most helpful in helping forum members find some great stuff here a lot easier ! I appreciate you're having me as a new member to the forum ! Thanks a bunch ! Really enjoying it ! I've been around a long time, first got interested in pirate radio back in the early 60's, Radio Veronica, et al.. Been DX'ing them a long time, have numerous AM BCB pirates in the log over many years, a few FM BCB pirates and quite a few SW Band pirates. :-) Ran our first pirate FM mono station back in 1970, 40 watts into a homebrew welding rod fabricated ground plane @ 50 feet, did rather well ! Homebrew board, mixer, et al.. Latest escapade into the void is 'High Mountain Radio' 99.9 FM Stereo - "Broadcasting From Somewhere HIGH In The Appalachian Mountains With All Of The Stunning Power Of A Nightlight" (Currently 5 Watts - soon to be 80 sporadically until field testing is complete) into a Vertically Polarized Homebrew Folded Dipole @ 50 Feet With an experimental 45 degree upward tilt, saw someone mention that little 'trick' on this forum and figured I'd give it a try (supposed 'simulated' circular polarization).. Been around VHF radio a long time and never heard of that really until i saw someone mention it here a day or so ago.. Should be interesting to see how it compares to Vertical Polarization without the 45 degree upward tilt ! So far, the standard vertical polarization works best using a good car radio for field testing.. I will play a bit also with a 5 element yagi vertically polarized to reach a nearby town, directing the signal across my town to direct the signal towards desired area of coverage, next town upstream....
Best regards, 'Spooky'
