Just discovered this forum, please let me introduce myself.
My name is Stretchy and I have for more years than I care to remember have had Radio as a hobby. I am lucky in the fact that my hobby has now become a full time business and I contract out mt RF test skills around the U.K and Europe. In my spare time (not enough of that!) I have been busy developing simple and reproducible circuits for use on the S.W. bands and currently have kits (incl. PCB, toroids etc) for;
1, LULU style TX, 10W carrier (40W fully mod) uses a T200-26 mod tranny (supplied) and a Class D amp from eBay (not supplied (cheap from China!) as the modulator, simple and works well, sold quite a few of these.
2, Class E push pull PA 40W @12v & 150W @28v (will work from ANY voltage up to 50V max). TiNy PCB, no bigger than your thumb! Decent Efficiency at higher voltages >85%. Forget Class C, E is where it's at!
3, PWM modulator will modulate ANY voltage upto 50V @ 10A!, audio in, waggled D.C. out. About 1 inch cube in size, VERY efficient (class D), PCB with semicons and filter toroids supplied.
4, PIC driven DDS (not yet ready!) PIC board for 16CH's for eBay DDS boards.
