Pirates should have a ship

I'm curious if there are any pirates who currently broadcast from a ship. It really is the best way for multiple reasons.

If it's a sailboat, you automatically have an antenna tower.

The propagation over the water will be better.

You can move around.

The FCC will either be confused or won't bother trying to track you down.

If you do AM, it will be even better because of the conductivity of the saltwater.

I know of one pirate station personally that might be on a boat, but I'm unsure of the exact location. It could also be on an island. All I know is that the signal was super strong near the Marina.

I know of one station that is thinking heavily about getting out on the water. Sitting in one place makes you more of a target. It also gives you the chance, depending on location, to truly be a pirate.
