I know this is a little late to post but I am finally getting around to it. Was up at the deer camp get everything set up for the upcoming season, decided to try some DX. Brought the Eton Elite 750 and used a 50 longwire for Shortwave and used the onboard ferrite for AM and LW reception. Logs as follows: Shortwave from 0000-0200 UTC, Radio 48 on 6880 AM with S9 and great audio. Radio Free Whatever on 6925 USB with a S9+ and great audio. Wolverine Radio on 6935 USB doing a "Fly" show with a 10 over S9 and great audio and UNID on 6950 USB with a S8-9 and audio good. At 0430, also heard rock music being played on 6930 AM with S5-6 and audio good at that level but it was short lived. The noise floor at camp is really low, S3 at max which makes it prime dx'ing. QTH of camp is northern Minnesota. AM band reception was insane! So many stations! Standouts were 650 KENI Anchorage, 770 CHQR Edmonton, 1040 CKST Vancouver while nulling out WHO, 930 CJCA Edmonton and something coming in at 1475 but just could not get it. The topper to all of this was The BBC on 198 Khz LW which was crazy! They were talking about some type of shot to cure Malaria. There were also 2 other stations on LW heard but couldn't really pick them out. Frequencies were 153 and 225 Khz. The beacons were crazy on the upper end of LW, a bunch of them! Overall, lots of fabulous DX and the Eton did a fantastic job!
