We should review some books on subjects including broadcasting and electronics.
I found a great book called "The Radio Station", by Michael C Keith. I highly suggest people get this book. It has all the information people need to get in the broadcasting field of radio. Includes sections for different departments of a radio station, the business of it, engineering and a lot more. I can't review it as well as other sites so take a look here... search.barnesandnoble.com/The-Radio-Station/Michael-C-Keith/e/9780240808505
Quote from Barnes and Noble...
Topics explained include satellite radio, Web radio, AM stereo, cable and podcasting. Also, mergers and consolidation, future prospects, new digital technologies. This edition is loaded with new illustrations, feature boxes and quotes from industry pros.
I know it's for professional radio, but it can give pirates a good inside scoop of how legal radio is ran which is always useful. Also has great tips for people who want to get involved with working at legal stations.
So that should be a good start. Any good book reviews should be discussed here unless you feel it warrants a post thread by itself. When I get the time I will review a bunch of other great books. Also may as well say how much I am going to miss Passport to Worldband Radio. It's too sad that they will not make any new issues
