you are going to spend LOTS of time dickering with your antenna and with your audio.
i just turned up my AM a few days ago. it was up at another location and i spent many hours messing with the audio the last time as well. audio on AM is not plug and play. it takes skill and good ears to get it right when your on a budget (cant afford an optimod).
at my last install an engineer buddy for a licensed LPFM was marveled at how my AM sounded. it takes lots of tweaking. its a very thin line between getting the most of what you got and sounding like ass.
for those AM newbs. your antenna affects your audio. any tweaks you make to improve signal will likely be followed by tweaks to your audio.
