But what I was thinking is that this frequency wouldn't make too bad of a SW pirate frequency if using a VXO.

A couple decades ago, all the drivethroughs in my area used 27.145MHz ... that was no end of fun with the modded CB's so common XD
Another was turning on all the R/C toys in Radio Shack at Christmas (when they had lots of powered demos) and waiting for the clerk to be alone and not expecting anything ... then keying up the radio on 14A and give a whistle ;D

This reminds me of some of the weird things I used to do with CB radios back in the day lol, like putting a neon light on my antenna so it would glow when keying up , or making really weird sounds on 27.185.
