Found this PDF of a book from 1950 on how to setup a radio station studio.
Fun look through if you like old tech...

I remember taking a field trip to our towns radio station when I was a kid in school and when we went into their basement where the engineer literally lived they had a bunch of old equipment like this laying around from ages back collecting dust.
