So I just Bought a CZH-15A, its the 15Watt Model. it came with a GP Antenna, i was supposed to get upto about 10 miles or so. i dont seem to go past 1! more like 2/4 a mile. Can someone help me on what i should do to fix this??? yes i've put it on the Hi setting and not Low
i have a suspension that it might be a cheap bootleg transmitter with a fake chip in it. as i've read someone eles complain on youtube about that on a similar model.
if i can fix this problem can someone show me decent setup that i can get that will go upto 10miles??? if someone could please help me!

Ebay, Radio Free Brandy, few other places out there to round up some power FM TX's.
Also schematics for do it yourself units, some are very well designed and others are basic with a little modding can vastly improve their performance.
Google is your friend.

It's possible that it is defective, but I would not trust that tiny 1/4 wave GP antenna with any 15 watt TX.
Do you have, or can get access to a watt meter and dummy load? That is the best way to determine if the TX itself is defective or not.
Most of the vendors of those CZH units will gladly replace it no problems.
Peace!
Hey Sorry for the long time no post, i basicly got a new mitsibishi chip in it and it went alot futher, im thinking i might have got ripped off but i was able to fix the problem myself.
i do not have a watt meter or a dummy load. i should prolly look into getting one
anyway is there anything i can do to increase my signal?? and since im new to this, can u tell me what a low pass filter is and link to where i can get one because im assuming i need one
