I was reading in another post that Kage didnt care for FRN. Though Ive never had any interaction with them I have perused there site before. Is there any specific reason you dont like them? Any reason to stay away or is it just that you dont care for them? (Just wondering cause I always like learning why people dont like one particular group or brand, a friends personal reasons are why I went from Ford to Chevy)
It's a LONG story, one which I rather not get into again. A lot of it had to do with them banning me over a bunch of BS and another member over there trying to start a crap flinging contest. The only thing good that came out of all the racket was kracker making a mockery radio show using clips from a show I made, which he didn't seem to understand at the time that my show which I uploaded was also suppose to be comical. So it was like mocking a mockery lol. The one line that I will never forget, though I forget who said it, was "You will never be a real pirate like we are". That pretty much sealed the deal for me.
That was eons ago though. All of these sites/forums seem to serve the same purpose but do tend to serve somewhat of an individual niche. HFU seems to be where everyone logs stations, this forum seems to be where most of the tech talk is, and FRN is like the TMZ of pirate radio
I have no hard feelings. We're all in this for the hobby and fun and in the end that's what it is all about. Hopefully this thread won't start stirring the pot or else I may have to toss it over to the foot in mouth subforum.
OK nough said. Thank you for your response. And I love this forum specifically for the tech talk as thats why I got interested in this hobby. I find it hard to find info other than a schematic and parts list with no info on how things actually work and go together. Ya I can build it but half the fun is how it works and such
