I did a modification to the EXE of ZaraRadio to add FLAC and make the MP3 working on my Windows 7 computer. For some reason mp3 is not working on most of my systems with Zara.
So I patched the EXE to add FLAC too. If you want to play FLAC, but don't want to use another radio automation software, then this is perfect. I really recommend Zara because it's easy to use and a lot of pro-stations use it too.
Just to be clear, this is not some pirated copy. This is the free version of Zara that I modified!
FLAC goes great with AAC encoding and a 64k stream. Sounds just like 128k-320k stream even on professional and cheap. Listening equipment. Only AAC sounds better on lower bitrate streaming AND is cheaper to host AND uses less data. Half as much data then a traditional 128k stream and sounds same or better.
