I stumbled onto this board and thought I would share my multiband compressor. I designed a modern take on the 80s Texar Prism. The design is not DSP just all analog with digital level control just like the Prism but modernized. I decided to open source the design rather than sell boards and kits. Estimated cost is around $1000 USD unless you are resourceful or have some parts already. Heres a link to my site with all the info and a demo video.
I took some ideas from the original Texar Prism for my broadcast audio processor but mine doesn't have the complexity so to keep it simple and still attain good results for a hobbyist station. I was more interested in the Dorrough DAP 310 for that reason, however both of those classic designs share a lot in common and the Texar was more sophisticated in how it handled processing to give its signature sound.
