Everything for sale here in the States is either complete units from overseas, or kits for very low power Part 15 located in this country.
Not sure how the laws work in other places, but I seem to recall the FCC frowns on any transmitters being sold domestically here in the States other than those with lots of disclaimers and low power.
E-bay has plenty of transmitters listed; mostly from HLLY or fake HLLY's as claimed by HLLY. FCC frowning on any transmitters being sold domestically is why we have the junk from China.
Leave it to the government to send jobs and business overseas.

Greetings From High Mountain Radio 99.9 FM !
Nice forum ! I am also new here but not new to radio, been around a long time.. I suppose the FCC could 'frown' on it all they want, selling ANY kind of transmitter on EBay isn't illegal here in the USA, it's what a potential eventual buyer DOES with said transmitter is what determines if it is used legally or not, the sale of the gear itself is perfectly OK in the USA .. NO disclaimers required at all.... BUT... if you prefer to have the 'courtesy' to inform potential buyers of your transmitters the potential ramifications of using purchased transmitters illegally is strictly a moral choice on the part of the seller.. Heck, you could seller a 5 megawatt transmitter on Ebay, perfectly OK.. As a matter of fact, there is a very good RF Power Amplifier builder that sells homebrew pallet LDMOS RF Power Amplifiers, one in particular with an output of 6000 Watts on 27 MHZ (CB Radio Band) and that too is perfectly ok to sell, I simply wouldn't recommend using one on 27 MHZ, if the neighbors don't hang you FIRST, the FCC will much sooner than later ! LOL ! Check out BBI Builder on EBay if you doubt my statement about the CB high power LDMOS RF Power Amplifers.. :-)
Best wishes to all in this community, Play On !

Greetings All !
Sorry, I just realized I didn't see the LDMOS RF Power Amplifiers for CB Radio on EBay, although I see them there too, the BBI LDMOS Power Amplifiers I was referring to in my previous post was on YouTube. Here is the link to the 6000 Watt CB Radio Amp:
LOL !
Regards To All... 'Spooky'

Greetings !
Here is a little tidbit of nostalgia for all here:
While working for DOD years ago, the priveledge presented itself to repair and test out a 50,000 Watt 'PSYOPS' Continental AM Broadcast Band transmitter.. Said 'test' was on 590 KHZ for about 20 minutes, what a 'blast' !!! Never forget that moment in history ! :-) LOL ! Hope this provides all of you with a small smile.. :-)
Regards, 'Spooky'
