They have all the old stuff in a vault and should bring most of that back, sort of a blast from the past Phoenix rising from the ashes sort of thing...along with the newer kits.
But I can see why they are restarting small.....most have been used to just pulling it off the store shelf the last 20 years....and most these days were not even around when Heathkit was at its prime...and would not know what a "real" kit is...or where to start much less understand the instruction manual and take the time necessary to read it.....
..after all...who reads instructions these days! If it is not plug in and turn on, or swipe of the finger across a screen....it may be in for quite a struggle.
For the die-hard electronic tinkerer, this is fantastic news! Can't wait to see the first iPhone kit.
