For the broadcasters only.. So what kind of show do you run?
Here we run a completely random show and do something different everytime. We don't plan anything or have scripts though sometimes I wish we did on occasion. Mostly rock/metal/electronic music and sometimes sca and other odds and ends. I run the station and built the darn thing from scratch lol so I fire up the equipment and run the quiet side of the show sometimes. Also we use a soundboard for sound effects like weird laughs and belch sounds and stupid noises to make it more weird. Actually weird isn't the word for the show. Sometime soon we will do a show and record it in mp3 and let you all hear it but currently our transmitters are kind of down.
I run a land (Towerblock) based Fm / internet pirate radio station which have been broadcasting for approx 4 years, with around 60 dj's, spinning House music 24/7 from a secret location in London, covering the whole London area & surrounding counties, we are available on 103.0mhz (FM) for London listeners 0r www.icecoldfm.co.uk for the rest of the globe, It's F**king hard work keeping a smooth running from day 2 day, but I love it!!
Now that I got the station running we are "Indie 106.8" As of now we got 6 DJs and we broadcast out of a van. Pushing 40 watts of power we are heard pretty far, (unfortunately stability suffers a bit because the antenna is modified and mounted horizontally on the roof of the van. It is lifted and xmitter is grounded at every stop). We pretty much advertise and play local bands here in Phoenix, AZ. We have one segment called "Phoning it in" where we receive a live feed from a mixing board at a local show and broadcast it. Other things include "The odd political hour". "The FC Who and your rights" and "Not of this world" We also include commercials to make the station sound more legit (kinda) we include commercials to local shows and commercials we find that are from 1940 (makes it more interesting)
Our station pretty much appeals to the "hipster" crowd or so we are told, but its been a pretty fun experience, we don't keep a schedule organized or anything and we broadcast at least 6 hours a day everyday while on the move. (3 hours per stop) Also, some things are automated because we create a "schedule" on a laptop specifically for this.
I run a weekly radio show which is themed around Paganism/Wicca and earth-based spirituality, which I broadcast on Monday evenings.
I run my station 24/7 on a semi-automated basis with a playlist of music and Podcasts which are pre-approved for rebroadcast. On Tuesdays I feature jazz, Wednesdays it's blues. On Thursdays I broadcast progressive politics and Friday is "fun day" - featuring the Arts of various kinds. Weekends I just run my default playlist of indie rock, rockabily, blues and doowop.
BROADCASTING OLD SKOOL AND NEW SKOOL DRUM&BASS/JUNGLE MUSIC WE ARE ON LINE EVERYDAY,WE ARE NOT A 24 HOUR BROADCAST SO YOU HAVE TO BE LUCK TO CATCH US..
Mostly classic rock 70s 80s 90s stuff, for special events I will go all country for the night, no DJ's just music till I go to bed, It's hard to sleep with all the bright flashing lights so I shut down at night. 96.3 fm "CYNR" Sinner radio, good music for bad people. sixer

Wow. Like a format? ;D
Some nights it can start with classical and end with metal, or vice versa. I like to go where the music leads, but generally I do tend to follow some sort of theme. It may be songs that all have an X in the title, or all of a certain genre, but generally it does follow the days' whim.
As far as what is said on air, that never follows a script, so it can be pretty interesting at times. Nothing ranting, political or offensive, just fun and wandering.

I play a wide range of music. I try not to let genre stop me too much. You won’t find much polka unless it’s October. Takes me a while to paste a show together. I don’t announce song titles, I just give the station name and number out at the top and bottom of the hour.
I also do stupid news.
Really funny is I found these voices, like on Vista. You type it in and it regurgitates. It is extremely humorous to hear the stony slow I can get or the severely severe UK woman. I have assigned these strange personalities to them. From the spaced out hippy chick to the downed out kid who plays the sludge metal show. There are also alternate languages, so I do ‘cultural exchange’ shows. Truly hysterical.
I use a ton of samples, .mp3, and tend to keep my shows down to an hour or two. It’s all pre-programmed so all I have to do is sit back and have a beer. All I have to do is remember to turn the transmitter off.
I don’t run 24/7 but I do run it very close to a major interstate…
I am both a DJ and a broadcaster, I run my own gig, I run my own selection and my own server (with the help of a host) out of my home in Taylor Michigan. I make recordings for my station out of my basement bedroom then upload them to my server in the next room I call my official studio. My main tasks include primarily cleaning junk files off the servers hard drive and scanning for malware multiple times a day or night,
My radio show is automatic and on auto piolet.
I basically collected a bunch of music (mostly rock metal and pop music and other genres) about 22,000 songs to be exact, and about 100 different DJ talk recordings that some consist of brief musical history lesions where I read things off of the Internet out loud word for word, then I copy that same recording file about 59 times until I get about 9000 DJ recordings, with the same recordings copied multiple times to ensure that the shuffle deck software plays those recordings and people can hear them more often
but also my station plays more music that it talks. and I do that on purpose to make a balance between talking and music. My auto DJ talk recordings are only in my 30,000 audio file playlist to make my station more like a live show.
But my radio show is all in auto piolet and is semi engineered. I don't know any computer language programming but I did manage to semi engineer my radio station to make it sound somewhat like a live show regardless.

I left the link to listen behind in the internet broadcasting forum already on here I work almost 24/7 in the background because I am working for a greater cause and that cause is the keep music alive, for the sake of religion and for the sake of the 1000's of clients listening day and night that depend on my music to keep them entertained
I do it for charity and I love doing it
I broadcast 24/7 because I am almost always working on my server making sure nothing is wrong with it
