Just so you guys know you can sign up to TI (Texas Instruments) and search their free samples database and order free sample parts to test out. They require you to use an email address that is either right through your ISP, or a university or business. I just got a handful of LM3886 power amplifier HIFI ICs from them and it cost absolutely nothing. They use fedex ground shipping and the stuff arrives to your door literally days later w/o you being required to sign anything or even answer the door. Just don't abuse the service so we can all enjoy it and most of all make sure to actually order some parts that do cost to keep the ball game rolling. I seen TI has opamps and power amplifier ICs, lots of other various ICs that are useful for many of the homemade projects here and so on. If anyone knows other companies that do this please let us know. Just be careful to only order free parts once a month and no more than 5 at a time or they may black list you, and of course this is not for resale but makes a great way to get some free shit in hopes to them that you eventually order parts that cost money, and you should since TI sells good stuff. Not affiliated or a shill, just passing on the cool intel.
Just make sure when you order that you know what DIP and SOIC and other types are. I accidentally ordered some opamps (as seen in pic) that were not DIP type and now am wondering how I will use them w/o the converter board lol. So tiny.
