Greetings To All From High Mountain Radio !
I have been in communication with the Chinese manufacturer of the Model CZE-T251 (FMUser Model FU-25A) FM Broadcast Transmitter and have been informed that this transmitter, as it comes from the factory, is pre-set to 75us, the USA broadcast standard ! This is indeed great news for those individuals who require a good, 0~25 watt adjustable output, FM broadcast transmitter ! We are starting to see that some Chinese manufacturers are finally starting to implement a nice, very welcome feature of user selectable transmitter pre-emphasis, either 50us pre-emphasis (Asian and European Broadcast Standard) or 75us pre-emphasis (USA Broadcast Standard) !
I have been in direct communication with most of the Chinese manufacturers and have highly recommended that they incorporate this feature in all newly manufactured FM broadcast transmitters in their lineups and it seems to not have fallen on deaf ears ! I have been encouraging them to implement this change and have suggested that by adding this feature would very likely stimulate sales of their products to the USA market as well as other world regions where 75us pre-emphasis is employed as a FM broadcast standard ! The only drawback keeping me from purchasing the CZE-T251 transmitter has been that up until now, it appeared that this transmitter was factory set for 50us pre-emphasis and could not be easily changed without microsurgery to the internal circuitry. From the information that I just received from the manufacturer, it was stated that this model transmitter is, in fact, factory set to 75us pre-emphasis and is not switchable. That is perfectly fine since we here in the USA are only concerned with 75us pre-emphasis anyway !
Keep On Rockin' In The Free World ! Spooky...

I'm about to speak with CZH/FMUSER soon but wanted to talk to you first if possible. First, do you know if CZH (http://www.czhfmtransmitter.com) is the primary manufacturer? And if so, is FMUSER (fmuser.net) just a separate brand label they use? Have you purchased one of CZH's CZE-T251 with 75us pre-emphasis delay?
I got a CZE-T251. Does yours persistently start (upon being turned on) with a temp warning? And then upon pressing button and setting temp to 40C, it runs fine. SWR is good at 1.0 - 1.1.

I would generally advise not to upgrade the transmitter for more range unless the new transmitter is 4 x the power. There is much more of a difference from improving the antenna. It is also much cheaper to get a better antenna (usually). A better antenna or raising the antenna will make more difference than doubling the power.
